Job Description
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Uses a hammer and/or saw to correct quality issues in the assembly pallets. In quality department places pallet on rollers, lifts pallet to examine pallet, removes defective boards, and corrects nail related issues. In an assembly department understands pallet specifications and modification necessary for customers. Responsible for troubleshooting jams, and basic maintenance of quality control station, as well as fully versed in PCP program. Work requires operator to stand for long periods of time. Operators must be able to repeatedly lift a pallet weighing 50-75 lbs. Equipment and tools must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Quality Control Auditors must have hand/eye coordination and ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. Quality Control Auditors must also be able to complete task in a timely manner with a high attention to detail. The ability to understand and communicate information is essential. Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
PREFERRED SKILLS
2+ years previous experience working in an industrial, fast moving setting with industrial machinery.
