A Day in the Life of a Marketing and Communications Coordinator
You will be part of a talented team who is getting the message out to key audiences across the U.S. and Canada. You are responsible for developing elegant, content-rich brochures, newsletters, posters, and emails, as well as print, digital, and web content. Your work producing graphically compelling posts, infographics, and marketing materials will help highlight the firm's outstanding work. You will work in partnership with our Communications and Marketing Teams, helping to communicate effectively, and ensuring that Toole Design's values, capabilities, and culture are clearly conveyed in our internal and external communications.
Qualifications of a Marketing and Communications Coordinator:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, Art, English, or a related field, preferred
- 1-3 years of professional experience
- Experience in graphic design, layout design, and copyediting
- Experience working in multiple platforms to develop websites (e.g. WordPress and Squarespace) and communication campaigns including but not limited to LinkedIn, MailChimp, and Instagram
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
- Proficiency with other Adobe Creative Suite programs (InDesign) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Proficiency with SketchUp, a plus
- Familiarity with scheduling tools for social media and email, a plus

Work Schedule for a Marketing and Communications Coordinator
This full-time position typically works a flexible schedule of 40 hours a week. We also provide employees with the flexibility and necessary equipment to work from home 2-3 days per week. The Columbus office of Toole Design is conveniently located downtown, along High Street roughly 2 blocks north of Capitol Square. The office is easily accessed on foot, by bicycle, via transit, and auto. We are short walking distances to our clients, services, restaurants, and parks. Our Columbus team is known for its collaborative engineers, planners, and designers who are committed to a culture of innovation, excellence, and having fun while we help communities transform.
