The incumbent will work as the program assistant to the Division Director of the Transition Center’s Training Division (TC/T). Responsibilities will include a wide variety of tasks regarding curriculum and evaluation; virtual training support, course logistics management, report writing and other administrative tasks as assigned. The incumbent will work very closely with the Transition Center’s Lifeskills Training team.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Administrative Tasks:

  • Independently manage tasks as assigned, to include: publicity campaigns, virtual learning editing and creation, room reservation, course material creation, course logistics, A/V projects, travel documents, etc.
  • Manage the administration of program evaluation surveys by working closely with program administrators to ensure surveys reflect course content and structure
  • With TC/T Division Director and staff members, collaboratively establish short and long term goals and objectives

Data Systems: Management, Design, Maintenance and Reporting

  • Without oversight, create and maintain Training Division data sets drawn from a variety of data sources
  • Work collaboratively with TC/T instructors to implement tracking systems for student performance data
  • On one’s own initiative, design and implement visual reporting templates for complex data analyses
  • Independently develop SOPs for TC/T data entry, management, and analysis processes

Research

  • Independently research topics as assigned and draft concise summaries and briefings of research findings for TC/T’s Division Director
  • Based on research and independent analysis draft white papers for use in Transition Center strategic planning and decision making

Basic Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma.
  • Two years of experience in a related field
  • Secret Clearance

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
  • Three years of experience in a related field preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Superior organization skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong customer service aptitude
  • Ability to work individually and as a member of a team
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow technical direction as delivered by the government technical monitor and/or government staff members
  • Ability to interact effectively in a multicultural setting
  • Ability to manipulate information in existing databases
  • Familiar with or the ability to learn survey research software, databases and reference materials to collect information
  • Ability to present yourself professionally in a government environment and to inspire confidence with those with whom you have contact
