Vivian E. Hussey school is looking for a dynamic Second Grade Teacher to join ourteam. A qualified candidate will be highly-skilled in early literacy strategies, believe that every student can learn, and will be open to new and exciting ways of meeting students' needs. This candidate must be adept at integrating technology in the classroom, innovative in classroom management, and be willing to work closely with families.
The candidate will enjoy collaborating with colleagues and be willing to share and reflect on current practices.Experience with Eureka Math, Lucy Calkins Writing and/or Fountas and Pinnell Literacy curriculums would be an added benefit. At the Hussey School we work to keep the whole student as the focus while maintaining an academically rigorous and joyful classroom.
