Trim Saw Operator, 1st Shift 4 am - 2:30 pm, $21/hr, NO WEEKENDS! Job at Masonite International
This position is assigned to Masonite's 1st Shift working Monday-Friday from 4 am - 2:30 pm each day. We do not work weekends and we strive to give every other Friday off for work life balance.
Sets up and stages saw by scanning tickets barcodes (line item on order) into computer. From computer screen determines how to set-up/adjust guides on saw to maintain margins for ticket. Depending on order, could have to make manual adjustments/tweaking to meet or hold tolerances, certified lockout/tag out, Test door set-up and barcode printer, run orders. Change trim blades, sanding belts, calibrate the trimmer machine, quality check and measurements per order.
This candidate must have previous experience running a saw. Strong aptitude in measurement calculations and mechanical workings, Computer-controlled saw, knowledge of all aspect of the trimsaw machine, including maintenance, blade changes, mechanical understanding, printer maintenance, order tracking process, door/ customer quality specs, door types, core types, Masterpack, knowledge of other positions including feeding the saw and catching the doors.stand for 10 hour shifts.
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, bending, lifting, stooping, twisting.
