Overview:
Dunn Tire is looking to fill our Supply Depot Manager position. The primary responsibilities for this position include the purchase and distribution of everyday and specialty consumable items and certain automotive parts as needed for a location to conduct business.

The ideal candidate would possess excellent multi-tasking skills and pride themselves on their attention to detail.

Typical Shift: Mon-Friday 6:30 am- 2:30 pm

Pay: $17.50 - $22.00 / hr.

Responsibilities:
  • Generating parts orders daily for distribution to all locations, retail & wholesale
  • Filling weekly and emergency orders received via the Supply Depot website
  • Ordering everyday supplies from established vendors and/or trusted websites. In the case of auto parts working with the Business Analyst to ensure sufficient inventory is available
  • Receiving parts and supplies into the POS system
  • Costing depot items in the system
  • Meeting with potential vendors as the need arises
  • The procurement of any specialty items that may be requested by any location outside the scope of normal inventory
  • Protect company assets (inventory, petty cash, supplies, vehicles, etc.).
  • Accounting functions – Deposit must be taken to accounting as needed, and submit/complete paperwork as required
  • Complete accurate inventory counts. That will include following up and correcting any inventory mistakes
  • Follow company safety and OSHA procedures (accident reporting, safety glasses, boots, lifting procedures).
  • Hiring, training, scheduling, and disciplining depot personnel, you are required to manage the workflow, quality control, and inventory care in the Depot.
  • Reports to the Director of Continuous Improvement.
  • Train and certify in the operation of various powered industrial Trucks (forklifts/pickers)
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of the Automotive Tire Industry is preferred but not required
  • Possess excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows is a must
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn the Dunn Tire black screen system
  • General computer skills
  • The ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs. throughout the day. Approximately 5 ft. off the ground
  • The ability to climb a ladder up to 12 ft.
  • The ability to bend at the knees and work in flexible positions
  • Possess manual dexterity to use misc. hand tools
