Pay: $16-$20hr, Depending on Experience

Primary Job Function: The purpose of the Office Assistant is to greet customers by phone or in-person in a courteous and professional manner. Also, give office support to entire company as needed using a variety of computer and organizational skills, while handling various clerical tasks.

Job Duties:

  • Answer general incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries and/or route to the appropriate recipient. When recipients are not available, the Administrative Assistant will take and relay messages.
  • Maintain customer database with relevant information, as necessary.
  • Assist service department with Planned Maintenance customer contacts and scheduling (inbound & outbound calls).
  • Work with other departments to ensure collaboration and efficiency of all business units.
  • Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of two years in a customer service/reception-based role in an office setting is preferred
  • Minimum of two years of data entry experience
  • Scheduling/calendar maintenance experience
  • Inbound & outbound call experience
  • Comfortable and able to listen, speak, and respond efficiently to internal and external customers consistently throughout the day
  • Strong computer skills required
  • Customer service skills and professionalism are of utmost importance
  • Effective time management and organization in a fast-paced environment is required

Desired Qualifications:

  • QuickBooks experience preferred but not required
  • AP/AR experience preferred but not required
  • HVAC or similar trade experience preferred but not required
