ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Strategic Admin is responsible for working closely with the Strategic Sales Team and their customers providing professional customer service and communication across various outlets. Duties include creating quotes, monitoring product availability, and coordinating the delivery of products to the customer. This position will also work with the Strategic Operations Team on special projects as directed by the Strategic Operations Supervisor and process and manage government claims with manufacturers.
DUTIES INCLUDE
- Active participation in East Bay Tire's Safety program to maintain a healthy and injury free environment
- Participate in training and company meetings to facilitate individual and company growth
- Support the Strategic Sales team by aiding with product and pricing inquiries, customer service requests, and other tasks, as needed.
- Provide professional customer service and strong communication across various outlets for all Strategic Sales' accounts.
- Coordinate inventory movement based on sales team requests and customer needs.
- Request new part numbers and purchase orders to be created.
- Monitor product availability and lead times for current or pending customer orders.
- Develop and generate custom sales quotes.
- Communicate with vendors and manufacturers on pending orders to ensure timely deliveries to uphold customer expectations.
- Coordinate and monitor freight/deliveries for incoming materials and outgoing sales orders with the shipping and receiving departments.
- Process and manage government pricing and claim with manufacturers for all EBT locations.
REQUIREMENTS
- Highschool Diploma required, Associates Degree Preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an office or administrative role
- Accounting experience preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated organizational capabilities, detail oriented, ability to prioritize and handle multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent listening skills and strong communication skills
- A strong work ethic and a can-do attitude
- Self-motivated and self-starter
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to identify and resolve issues or problems.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft 365 Products, Adobe Suite Products, DocuSign, and various other software suites

- This position will work out remotely.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to:
- Work in an environment where there can be medium to loud noise
- Routinely use computer equipment including monitors, keyboards, etc.
- Frequently sit and stand to perform work, visit offices, attend meetings, and put supplies away, pack boxes or put materials together
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds
- Work flexible/varying schedule to support the team, customers, and deadlines
