Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assists in preparation of game days and special soccer events, including team equipment and player needs.
• Assists team staff during first team training sessions, operations and events.
• Assists the Academy with games, training sessions and events as needed.
• Responsible for the field set-up/tear-down for training sessions, games and events, assists with directing and managing the work of interns, volunteers, contractors, concessionaires and vendors.
• Transports players and staff to various locations throughout the South Florida area as needed.
• Assists with day-to-day team and training facility requirements.
• Responds to coach and player needs prior to, as well as during, gameday and other events.
• Ensures that all MLS requirements and protocols are followed for all games.
• Investigates methods for improving processes and procedures that will help streamline operations.
• Assists with managing inventory of all assets and items.
• Maintains all equipment and supplies in a proper working order.
• Assists staff with various administrative and operational tasks as needed.
• All other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Enthusiastic and energetic team player.
• Possess a positive, outgoing, engaging and professional personality.
• Strong understanding and passion for the sport of soccer is preferred.
• Possess exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize/multi-task.
• Ability to work productively under pressure, problem solve and be consistently proactive.
• Maintain highest level of professionalism and confidentiality within a pro-team environment is required.
• Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and have a strong sense of accountability.

• Bilingual (English and Spanish) fluency required.

• Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

• Ability to work extended hours and weekends and holidays when required.
