Purpose of the Role:

This position is responsible for understanding food trends and social experiences surrounding food in the market; relating them through the recipe strategy and inspiring our customers and consultants with this content across key communication channels. This position reports to the Content Manager of Culinary Education to lead the recipe arm of the overall Culinary Strategy. This role will develop recipes and culinary content that adheres to Pampered Chef's brand and style, showcases the importance and versatility of our products, and educates on culinary techniques. Work and learn in a highly collaborative environment and create recipes that will attract new customers, strengthen relationships with current customers and inspire both customers and consultants to make mealtime memories in their own kitchens.

Responsibilities:

• Leads the overall recipe strategy, including plan for seasonal development in support of product and holistic culinary strategy and in consideration of recipe distribution needs.
• Support marketing strategy and field communications annual and seasonal planning process and culinary content development.
• Manages recipe timelines and product availability to ensure recipes are turned in according to schedule
• Hands on recipe development from concept to final development, includes writing and editing recipe copy and calculating nutritional information
• Testing recipes using PC products.
• Maintain PC recipe style guide for all recipes developed.

• Research and understand culinary and consumer food trends as well as cooking techniques to drive development of creative, innovative recipes and content.
• Use culinary and product expertise to support Product Management and Industrial Design team with both durable and consumable product, recipe, and culinary consultation. Recommend recipes to showcase key products.
• Work with Product, Marketing, Social Media and Multi-Media services teams to

• Prior experience with introducing products and recipes to the media, live presentations, and on video.

Education and Experience:

• BS in Food Science, Culinary Science or related field
• Culinary certificate preferred
• 5-8 years of experience in recipe development; industry/corporate experience, experience working in marketing a plus
• Microsoft Office Experience; Excel, Word, Power Point
• Demonstrate previous experience/comfort level with video public speaking/presenting/training
