Experienced Veterinarians, a leading animal hospital in San Leandro is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Veterinary Radiologist to join our growing team.

Key Duties

• Interpreting and diagnosing radiographic images, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans
• Performing a variety of imaging procedures, such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, and ensuring the safety and comfort of the patient during the procedure
• Communicating findings and recommendations with other veterinary professionals, including veterinarians, technicians, and pet owners
• Staying current with advances in veterinary radiology, including new imaging techniques and technologies
• Maintaining accurate and complete patient records, including radiographic images and reports
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including radiation safety regulations
• Maintaining a high level of professional ethics and standards, and demonstrating a commitment to the welfare of animals

Key Skills, Qualifications & Client Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
• Excellent diagnostic and interpretive skills for radiographic images, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans
• Board certification or eligibility for certification in veterinary radiology from the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) or the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI)
• Strong knowledge of veterinary anatomy, physiology, and radiology
• Current veterinary license in good standing in the state where the individual will be practicing
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care
• Completion of a recognized veterinary radiology residency program, or equivalent post-graduate training in veterinary radiology
