Requirement of Product Designer

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in product design
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity, innovation, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Knowledge of garment and trim construction standards. Textiles/fabrics, trims, finishing, and manufacturing methods is a plus.
• History of working under and meeting deadlines
• The ideal candidate will be innovative and creative and genuinely have a passion for fashion and design. This person needs to have strong communication and time management skills to effectively communicate ideas cross-departmentally while meeting deadlines. This candidate would ideally start this position with prior knowledge of fabrics, headwear construction, and trims.

Responsibilities of Product Designer:

• The Product Designer will work closely with the product development team to make sure deadlines are being met, designs are innovative and commercially viable, and everything is created within our brand guidelines.
• Big picture work will include leading seasonal trend reviews that guide the direction of our product and lead product R&D.
• This includes staying up to date and identifying trends for new seasonal collections, pattern and print ideas, color research, and design concepts for all current and future headwear.
• Daily work will include the creation of sketches, technical drawings, and tech packs to communicate design ideas and product specifications.
• This role will collaborate with the product development team to select materials, trims, and finishes.
• It is important that this role has a strong background in technical design and will lead sizing sessions to ensure optimal fit and functionality.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
