Vassar Brothers Medical Center is a 365-bed facility that has served New York’s Mid Hudson Valley since 1887. Overlooking the beautiful Hudson River in the city of Poughkeepsie, NY, VBMC has established expertise in cardiac services, cancer care and women and children’s health services. VBMC focuses on providing the highest quality care and meeting the needs of the community by consistently adding new services and state-of-the-art treatments. The medical center is currently in the process of building a new patient pavilion. The building, which includes 264 private patient rooms, an emergency and trauma center with 66 treatment bays, and new operating rooms, is scheduled to open in late 2020.
