Hope Christian Health Center is a non-profit, faith-based organization operating two clinics in North Las Vegas, a mobile outreach team, and the HCHC Recuperative Care Center (HCHC RCC) in Las Vegas.
The HCHC RCC is a 38 bed inpatient program that offers
primary care, case management, wound care, and other supportive services to clients who are homeless made possible through partnership with the City of Las Vegas.

Schedule options include: Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM-4:00 PM, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, or 9:00 AM-6:00 PM Total of 40 hours.
JOB SUMMARY: The Payroll Specialist is an administrative role working alongside the Human Resources and Finance departments to ensure proper and accurate administrative of employee payroll and benefits for all HCHC employees.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrative Duties

- Maintains a courteous and professional demeanor and provides excellent customer service to support employee functions
- Attends and actively participates in staff meeting and department meetings
- Maintains the confidentiality of Hope Christian Health Center employees, contractors, volunteers, and patients at all times.
Daily Duties:
- Timecard and attendance management
- Remote clock in management by location
Training Duties:
- Assists supervisors with employee schedule updates in Paylocity
- Trains supervisors and new employees on Paylocity (HR, Payroll, and Time Keeping system) as needed
Weekly/Semi-monthly Duties:
- Prepare, review, and submit process scheduled and unscheduled payrolls
- Managing holiday pay on current pay period being processed
- Update and manage PTO banks and PTO accruals
- Submit 403b retirement contributions
Monthly Duties:
- Prepare monthly payroll report for grant reimbursements
- Reconcile invoices for multiple employee benefits with payroll deductions
- Ensure Per diem employees meet monthly minimum requirements
Annual Duties:
- Participate in payroll and benefit related data audits to include: 403b retirement plans, financial audits, W2/1099 forms, and workers' comp. audits
- Prepare annual holiday and payroll schedules
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree in a Finance related field or Human Resources (preferred)
- 1+ years previous experience in processing payroll (required)
- 1+ years previous experience in benefit and/or timecard reconciliation (preferred)
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Occasional standing, walking, lifting, reaching, kneeling, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds. Frequent sitting. Manual dexterity. Good reading eyesight and vision for close work.
