Other Requirements
- High school diploma, trade school plus 4 years’ experience in heavy industrial maintenance.
- Demonstrated math skills commensurate with the job requirements. Computer skills and knowledge of various software programs
- Basic repair and maintenance techniques including safe work practices, troubleshooting and root cause analysis of mechanical equipment breakdowns.
- Ability to dismantle, repair, install, or move machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Perform job safety analysis on planned work.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering documents and specifications.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and work well with others.
- Problem solving abilities with team leadership skills
- Customer focused with the ability to train employees
