ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meet and greet prospective residents and vendors
- Qualify clients by determining his or her needs, eligibility, and desirability
- Tour apartment community and vacant apartments with clients
- Have a current knowledge of apartment specifications, vacancies, notices, and rental rates
- Have a thorough understanding of features and benefits provided by the subject community and comparable communities
- Have a thorough knowledge of the surrounding area, schools, and any other pertinent neighborhood information.
- Have a thorough understanding of application criteria, lease paperwork, rent collection, and move-in/move-out procedures
- Collect and store all deposits, fees and rents
- Assist in implementing the marketing and leasing plan
- Ensure the model apartments are ready for show
- Maintain work areas and office in clean and orderly manner
- Prepare, maintain and submit all administrative forms, files and reports in an accurate, and punctual manner
- Maintain contact with business and locator services, as well as perform off-site marketing visits
- Respond to all resident requests and concerns
- Maintain a positive attitude, professional appearance and courteous disposition at all times
- Promptly report unusual circumstances regarding residents, staff or the property to the Community Manager
