Best known for Little Debbie® snack cakes, America’s leading snack cake brand, Sunbelt Bakery® granola products, and Drake’s Cakes®, McKee Foods Corporation is seeking an IT Asset Technician to join our IT Asset Team in Collegedale, TN. This position will be responsible for providing support from the inside of a leading snack food manufacturer. Pay Grade
Salaried Grade 3 (non-exempt)
$52,000 - $57,900, depending on experience and qualifications.
The base salary range represents the starting and expected pay for this position. Actual salaries may vary and in some cases may be higher with extensive experience and strong performance.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (other hours as needed)
Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to quickly learn and master new technology, provide excellent onsite support for the rapidly changing end user device space, and have a strong desire to learn and grow with a team in continuous improvement efforts. Responsibilities will include:
- Providing on-site triage and support to resolve technical issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work to resolve issues and requests related to company workstations, laptops, mobile devices, operating systems, software, hardware, and peripherals
- Deliver, install, and set up computer systems, including software installation
- Track and research problems to identify and solve root causes
- Participate in and help promote corporate standardization for improved support and lower total cost of ownership (TCO)
- Assist with general system administration as needed
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- One or more years of experience in computer hardware and repair, software installation, and basic knowledge/experience in Windows and mobile operating systems
- Ability to set up/build computer systems and peripherals with the ability to diagnose and repair, or replace equipment and parts
- Experience supporting Windows OS (10, Windows Server 2016)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Effective customer service experience with a high level of professionalism, initiative, and assertiveness
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills including tracking and researching problems to identify and solve root causes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team
- Strong desire and aptitude to learn quickly, develop new skills and work independently
- Must be willing to travel up to 5%
Preferred Qualifications
- Two+ years of College or Associate's Degree (two years of experience may be substituted for each year of required college education)
- Desktop Support and/or Help Desk experience
- Experience supporting network switches and routers
- System Administration experience including VMware
- Experience with Linux and OS X (macOS)
- Project Management experience
