Home Maintenace (Chore) Job at 1st Prestige Home Care Agency
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSABLITIES OF HOME MAINTENANCE (Other duties maybe assigned)
- Washing walls, ceiling, floors, woodwork, baseboard and cupboards in the Participant’s living area
- Moving furniture and large area rugs to clean under them
- Shampoo carpets
- Takin down, washing and re-hanging curtains or drapes
- Cleaning blinds
- Cleaning insides of windows
- Cleaning outside windows on the ground floor only
- Sorting through boxes (with Participant’s approval/supervision) to eliminate clutter
- Heavy cleaning of the interior & exterior of refrigerators and stoves
- Defrosting refrigerators
- Removing rubbish or clutter and garbage accumulation (animal and human waste excluded) because of Health Department Citation
- Cleaning the attic, basement or other storage area to remove fire and safety hazards only
- Assistance in packing a participant belonging to move to another location and assistance in unpacking at the new home
