Graduation Coach Assistant: Fayetteville Job at Georgia Military College
The Graduation Coach Assistant is responsible for supporting the Graduation Coach(es) in both academic and student account processes. This position will be the point of contact for financial aid services with the support of the Resource Management Office, along with being the VA School Certifying Official. This position will certify all VA students and ensure that the VA files are up to code. This position will process weekly financial aid reports, daily Blackboard help tickets, quarterly course prerequisite reports, and quarterly student planner reports. Lastly, the position will help manage applications for degree & provide support for annual graduation ceremonies. In the event a Graduation Coach is absent, this position will be the required fill-in. Due to the expected growth and expansion of the College, this position will serve as part of the succession plan.
Primary Responsibilities
Reports; Pull weekly & quarterly reports to distribute to the graduation coaches in order to support current students. Add comments and notes to reports on a daily basis.
Financial Aid Tasks; -Monitor student progress and alert the Grad Coach when there are students of concern, weekly refund report, weekly pending aid report, and state aid report, etc.
School Certifying Official; Create VA files and certify students each term. Maintain the files for accuracy (ex: degree plans, courses, grades).
Graduation; Process degree applications from the graduation coaches and maintain an accurate graduation participant list.
Other duties as assigned
Criminal background check and drug screen must be cleared before any candidate may begin working.

Required: High school diploma
Preferred: Associate's degree
Experience
Required: 1+ years' direct customer service and sales
Preferred: Customer service and sales through a phone call center
