Essential Job Functions
- Work at a vigorous and consistent pace to process materials.
- Visually identify, grade and manually separate and sort scrap metal of various odd shapes, sizes and weights from other debris and place scrap metal into piles or containers.
- ear assigned personal protective equipment appropriate to his/her assigned task including reflective vest, hard hat, safety glasses, work gloves, steel-toed boots, long sleeve shirt and long pants.
- Work outdoors in extreme heat or cold, dusty, dirty and/or wet conditions.
- Work full-time in standing position – at least 40 hours per week.
- Walk long distances outdoors in recycling yard on uneven, unpaved ground in all forms of weather.
- Demonstrate professional conduct and work cooperatively with others.
- Comprehend and comply with work instructions.
- Comprehend and comply with Company safety policies and procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
