Front Desk Agent Job at Holiday Inn
- Answer inquiries and check in/out guests in a timely and professional manner
- Establish and maintain professional communications and teamwork with fellow employees
- Follow hotel policies and safety standards
- Manage guest room transfers, cancellations, and reservations
- Know off-hand rates, packages, and promotions
- Handle money exchanges, balance receipts, and administer safe deposit boxes
- Generate, print, and distribute daily and weekly reports as necessary
- Complete all items on a shift check list
- Obtain all necessary information when taking room reservations and follow the rate-quoting scenario
- At least 1 year of Front Desk experience in a hotel
- Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficient in OPRA or equivalent PMS
- Availability to work morning shifts 7AM to 3PM and afternoon shifts 3PM to 11PM
- A High School Diploma or G.E.D
- Ability to lift 15 pounds or less, stand on feet for long periods of time, and bend, crouch, reach with no difficulty
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
