Position Summary

• Fresh Plant Supervisor must be able to manage their shift, area and department so we can build employee morale and increase our customer loyalty and satisfaction.

General Purpose

• Fresh Plant Supervisor will be responsible for improving efficiencies; Quality assurance; Problem resolution; Yield improvements, Customer satisfaction.

Position Responsibilities

• Crider, Inc. requires all employees to comply with and support all Food Safety and Quality policies, programs, and procedures to ensure our products meet and exceed consumers’ expectation.
• Housekeeping should be maintained continuously at least every half hour.
• Product labels should be verified once each set of labels are printed for errors or misprints.
• No foreign materials should be allowed at anytime in the department.
• All electrical cords should be off the floors and water hoses should be wrapped up neatly when not in use.
• The safety chain should always be used on the combo dumper when in use.
• No supervisor or hourly employee should be working on any equipment “Maintenance Only.”
• Supervisor should double check all production paperwork for errors during shift and at the end of the shift prior to paperwork being turned.
• Hourly checks she be performed on the actual yield and documented.
• Monitor and check PSI on initial startup and throughout the shift to ensure that the proper settings are accurate to obtain the standard yield.
• Complete and fill all production orders daily and weekly.
• No tools, parts, equipment, foreign materials, maintenance tools and tool belts should be stored in DSI area.
• Any downtime over 10 minutes or any reoccurring downtime should be immediately reported to the maintenance supervisor or lead person on duty and the production manager
• Label all trash combos as “TRASH”.
• Supervisor must follow and enforce daily all GMP’s.
• (In case of absence of key personnel, the job will be filled by a trained employee)
• Areas of primary responsibility are the portioning area; however, at times assistance shall be required in the coolers and receiving areas.

Preferred and Relevant Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree with production experience, or equivalent experience
• Experience in DSI, and other areas in a poultry plant.
• Advanced computer efficiency.
• Knowledge of yields, efficiency, and cost.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
