Food Pantry Coordinator Job at Catholic Charities Boston
Catholic Charities founded in 1903 remains among the largest and well-respected social service agency with programs and offices located in Boston and the greater Boston area.
As one of the largest providers of social service in Massachusetts, Catholic Charities of Boston offers over 70 programs and services in 23 locations around Eastern Massachusetts.
We are currently seeking a full-time Food Pantry Coordinator for the pantry located in Lynn.
The Food Pantry Coordinator oversees the daily operations of the Food Pantry including but not limited to supervision and coordination of the food pantry employees and volunteers while maintaining personal and professional boundaries.
Qualifications include
- A bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field with prior experience in human services and 2 years of supervisory experience. Or, proven work related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Good phone etiquette and written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) speaking ability is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Sensitivity to the needs of individuals and families with financial hardships and from varied cultural backgrounds.
- A valid license and good driving record.
