At Pepsi MidAmerica our Fleet Mechanics provide a crucial support role to keeping our trucks on the road and our product on the shelves. If you like to work with your hands, enjoy a well maintained shop and look forward to a new challenge every day, then this role is for you. Experience working on Diesel Engines a plus but not required. We also have a maintenance apprenticeship program for those looking to start a career in this industry!

PRIMARY TASK INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
1. Performs oil changes, greasing of necessary components and repair of lighting systems.
2. Performs maintenance or repair service for company vehicles including all semi trucks and trailers, light trucks and minimal forklift repairs.
3. Takes apart and restore to working order mechanical or electrical devices such as starters, clutches, transmissions or engines.
4. Operates customary hand or power tools used for vehicle repairs, keeps service records and account for parts installed.
5. Daily clean up of work area, including floors, walls, tabletops, equipment, overhead doors, ECT.
6. Responsible for working safely and for reporting potential hazardous problems in the work area to management.
7. To perform other service duties as assigned and deemed necessary by the Fleet Foreman.
8. Maintain appropriate tools to accomplish daily tasks.
Qualifications:

• Entry-Level Mechanic Experience (Diesel Mechanic Experience NOT required, we provide training)
• Valid Driver's License
• High school diploma/GED
