We seek a Field Market Leader responsible for providing oversight of store level sales activities and performance within the assigned territory, responsible for handling all aspects of one large volume retail customer, including operations, promotional plans, marketing, data analysis and merchandising. Functions as primary company contact for assigned territory.
In this role, you will play an integral part in the success of our business, acting always with a high degree of integrity, efficiency and effectiveness.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL TASKS
Work Experience, Preparation and Training
Prior food sales experience preferred.
A bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required in order to prepare reports, perform calculations, keep records and/or deal effectively with other people. Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite.
Licenses/Certifications
A valid state of residence driver’s license, auto insurance and excellent driving record is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL TASKS
- Develops/maintains goodwill with customers on behalf of Gold Medal.
- Assumes complete responsibility for customer program compliance, training initiatives, interaction with Computer Assisted Ordering, and customer rapport (obtaining sales, profitability, merchandising and customer service goals).
- Responsible for any individual contacts as assigned by Management. Keeps management informed of organizational changes that occur with customers throughout the area.
- Ensures follow-through on store service coverage requirements and reporting initiatives.
- Reviews, assists and supports all orders for stores within territory including holiday and promotional planning.
- Supports store resets and aisle maintenance.
- Collects and evaluates post program results and forwards recommendations with distribution to district leads.
- Performs other administrative functions (i.e. reporting, promo & budget entry, etc.) as requested.
