Equipment Technician Job at Samsung Semiconductor Inc (US)
Do you have experience doing repairs, maintenance, and/or working with electrical systems? Then this role is for you! The Equipment Technician role will help shape you into a first rate semiconductor technician at Samsung Austin Semiconductor via Randstad USA. This is an onsite contractor role with awesome growth opportunity, and with no shortage of great benefits.
Pay Rate is $20-$25 an hour depending on experience level.
For this role, you will get four days off in a row every other week!
We are currently hiring for B shift:
Night Shift: B - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday from 6:45 pm to 7:15 am.
Responsibilities In your day-to-day, you'll get to:
- Work from highly complex test procedures, electro/mechanical schematics, diagrams, written and/or verbal descriptions, and layouts to perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting functions of semiconductor equipment
- Perform complex mechanical and repair tasks
- Write highly complex technical reports and test procedures
- Perform complex operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment
- Determine methods or actions to remedy malfunctions
- Perform maintenance on tools using standard -operating procedures (SOPs)
- Troubleshoot equipment failures
- Monitor and respond to abnormal equipment signals and respond accordingly
- Collaborate with coworkers to perform breakdown maintenance
- Correct and generate SOPs
The essential functions of this role include:
-working in a smoke free environment
-standing for 8 hours at one time
-working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
