General Overview

The Budtender/Host, reporting directly to the General Manager, is responsible for supporting retail store operations and compliance guidelines in order to deliver consistent, positive, best-in-class customer experiences.

DESCRIPTION

Island Time MV is seeking enthusiastic, personable Budtender/Hosts who can use their experience to guide customers to the appropriate recreational cannabis products and provide impeccable customer service while complying with all regulations. Budtender/Hosts are expected to provide customers with prompt service and quality products while maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment. You will be responsible for assisting the management team with the activities and operations of the store while abiding by all policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Guide and direct customers in their cannabis purchasing journey
• Check valid IDs and answer customer questions and concerns
• Ensure compliance in all transactions, including CCC regulations and guidelines
• Assist with opening/closing of store and other tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods, preferred.
• Impeccable customer service skills
• Retail or hospitality experience preferred
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Must possess valid driver’s license or state ID
• Must pass any and all required background checks
• Must be able to be approved for current state cannabis worker license or permit.
• Candidates must have housing
• Must have weekend availability
