Pacifica Senior Living is looking for a Dietary Aide/Server to join our team!

Pacifica Senior Living is a dynamic growing senior living company that provides elegant senior living throughout the United States. We are always seeking highly motivated, focused, and determined people to join our team! Our Senior Living options include: Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, Namaste Therapy, Hospice, Home Health, and Personalized Living.

This position is responsible for cooking meals for our residents. This role helps fulfill the resident’s specific dietary requirements to promote their health and wellbeing.

Duties:

• Prepare meals, snacks, and beverages following specific procedures.
• Serving meals ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures and following them at all times.
• Properly cover and store or discard any leftover foods.
• When refrigerating, label, date, and cover all food items.
• Store food in compliance with established dietary procedures.
• Follow Federal and State long-term care regulations and Dietary Department policies and procedures.
• Prepare tables with special attention to sanitation and order.
• Assisting with general kitchen cleaning.

Requirements:

• Must have knowledge of safe food handling.
• Previous food service experience preferably in a healthcare dietary setting.
• General knowledge of quantity food preparation, portioning and services.
• Ability to work in a team.
• High School diploma or equivalent: A diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage
