Position Scope:
The Data Analyst supports enterprise program and demand planning for the Aerospace & Defense business unit. This individual finds trends and manages data, analyses data for actionable insights, determines correct data sets and variables. The ideal candidate also builds predicative models, and statuses to be used for forecasting, scheduling, & balancing of programs. Supporting the development of standardized planning processes and dashboard tracking influenced by customer sales projections, supply chain, and operations capacity and priorities is a key element of this role. Due to ITAR requirements, applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Demand Manager in rollout of new processes, products, tools
  • Collaborate closely with the Demand Manager to meet TTM goals and expectations
  • Help identify relevant data sources and source missing data; enhancing the data collection process as necessary
  • Perform data validation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and uniformity
  • Analyze and interpret internal and external industry data and trends, track demand patterns, and stay abreast of global changes, market dynamics, and potential impacts
  • Develop database queries to review and report data as well troubleshoot issues with demand management tools
  • Develop, maintain, and support development of demand management performance dashboards
  • Communicate findings to stakeholders using visualization and other means
  • Build predictive models that produce insightful analyses indicators with the end goal of balancing product lead-time & customer priorities effectively across strategic programs
  • Automate tracking of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to guide critical decision-making and measure the effectiveness of demand planning efforts
  • Determine the need for machine learning as it pertains to Demand Sensing
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations to:
    • Develop accurate customer booking projections and demand forecasts
    • Translate demand needs to site/enterprise impacts across labor, equipment, materials, and resources
  • Travel as needed to TTM Technologies’ manufacturing sites
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics and/or substituted equivalent working experience
  • 5+ years of experience in data science performing as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Data Engineer, or equivalent
  • Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis
  • Advanced pattern recognition and predictive modeling experience
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with SQL
  • Experience with Python, queries, report writing, data storytelling as well as building and maintaining dashboards

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation range and bonus are based upon specific physical locations.
Santa Clara/San Jose: $70,712.38 - $112,853.96 with Annual Bonus Potential
San Diego: $64,819.68 - $108,032.80 with Annual Bonus Potential
Santa Ana/Anaheim: $67,766.03 - $112,943.38 with Annual Bonus Potential
Colorado: $64,819.68 - $108,032.80 with Annual Bonus Potential
Export Statement:
Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
