Control Software Engineer - FORD CITY, PA Job at Herkules USA Corporation
Herkules USA Corporation is in need of a motivated individual to develop and install software for large factory systems. Herkules is a leading international company manufacturing and rebuilding computerized machines used in the steel, aluminum and paper industries.
Duties and responsibilities include:
§ Convert machine specifications to PLC-based control systems
§ Install and finalize software at customer site (travel when necessary)
§ Help develop new products and features
Qualifications required:
§ Experience in modern PLC programming
§ Motion control/process control knowledge
§ Understanding of electrical/electronic systems and servo motion control
§ Excellent data analysis skills
§ Strong written and verbal skills
§ Ability to troubleshoot and debug
§ Knowledge of control systems and experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc, Heidenhain
§ Familiar with installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of AC and DC drives.
This is a full-time position (40+ hours per week) with excellent job security and a safe, clean work environment. We are looking for candidates from Armstrong County, Butler County, Indiana County, Westmoreland County, and Allegheny County. Relocation assistance will be provided.
