Our Walters & Wolf, Glass Company is currently seeking an individual to fill a Class A Driver position in Fremont, California.

Successful candidates will possess the following responsibilities:

• Load, inspect and secure all loads on the trucks and trailers at shop.
• Deliver materials to specified job sites and assist crew with unloading.
• Organize tools and gang boxes to deliver them to new job sites.
• Collect and return to shop all materials, tools and gang boxes from completed jobsites.
• Operate Company vehicle safely and courteously, while following the rules of the road.
• Assist shop personnel with any tasks that need doing whenever deliveries are completed and no further deliveries are scheduled.
• Verify the daily preventative maintenance of the vehicle and report any problems with the vehicle to the Dispatch Manager.
• Make note of any discrepancies and report them to the Dispatch Manager as soon as possible.

Additional Requirements:

• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• Clean DMV record.
• Comply with all DOT requirements.
• Forklift experience is required.
• Field Construction delivery experience helpful.
• Able to handle a very fast paced working environment.
• Self-motivated, responsible, and reliable.
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)
