As Xamax continues to evolve, we are looking to bring on an experienced and talented Business Development Sales Engineer to help drive the sales of new products and materials.

The Position:
The Business Development Sales Engineer's primary responsibility is to work with assigned Sales Representatives/Engineers to present, sell, and train new products and materials to existing customers. Additional responsibilities include:
Identify new applications for existing products, create changes required to ensure product works, work with customer to get qualifications
- Identify and develop sales with strategic accounts, industry players, key stakeholders and product influencers
- Work closely with Head of New Product Development and New Product Engineer to develop new applications and ensure product qualification cycle-time meets customer expectations.
- Work closely with Purchasing and Operations and Shipping to ensure materials, shipping and production are all on pace to meet forecasted Close Date
About You:
You have a degree in Engineering; a background in nonwovens or composites preferred
- 5+ years’ field sales experience, ideally knowledgeable in FPR Thermoplastic or FPR Thermoset
- You have a track record of business development and securing new product sales, including experience with identifying and cultivating new strategic partners and alliances
- Previous experience has given you confidence with managing new business, including pipeline and forecasting management.
