Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Budget Analyst to join a federal program supporting a Government agency based out of Silver Spring MD. The Budget Analyst must currently possess an Secret, or Top-Secret Clearance.

  This role will be 100% Fully-Remote for the foreseeable future, but it will eventually transition to a permanent Hybrid work schedule (50% Remote/50% Onsite).

Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst include:

• Provide financial planning, analysis, and budgeting support for federal programs
• Develop and analyze complex budgets, annual work plans, and schedules to execute the approved budgets
• Prepare accurate analysis and reports of the team’s performance compared to historical, budgeted, forecasted, and strategically planned financial results
• Perform cost-benefit analyses for proposed budgetary actions
• Present complex financial information using spreadsheets and charts

Qualifications for the Senior Financial Analyst include:

• Secret, or Top-Secret Clearance
• 4-7+ years of experience in financial planning and budget analysis, within the federal Government or military environment
• Knowledge and experience in financial data analysis, research, spreadsheet reports, and maintenance of complex databases
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations, Budget Execution, and Government Accounting and Auditing Practices

Compensation for the Senior Financial Analyst include:

• Salary Range: $85,000-95,000 **depending on experiences & non-negotiable above this range**
