Behavioral Therapist Job at North Central Behavioral Health Systems
HOURS: M‐F 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Position Overview:
Provides treatment services to adults and youth identified with behavioral health or substance use diagnosis.
Completes assessment and treatment planning. Provides both individual and group therapy.
Duties
- Performs clinical assessment and diagnosis
- Performs individual psychotherapy, addictions counseling or family intervention
- Consultation and Coordination of services with team members
- Treatment planning and staffing
- Manages caseload consisting of adults and youth with behavioral health and/or substance use diagnosis.
- Completes documentation and adheres to regulatory requirements for provision of services
Qualifications:
- Required Minimum of Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or Marriage and Family Therapy and experience in addictions treatment.
- Preferred State of Illinois Licensure or eligible for licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor or License Marriage and Family Therapist
- Preferred knowledge/experience with dual (mental health and addictions) disorders.
