Summary:
In this role, you will manage the provider relationship, operational work, and engagement team for one of Vizient’s largest members. You will develop strategic account plans that align with provider objectives and ensure attainment of Vizient goals. You will also manage projects and teams to ensure successful delivery of Vizient solutions and support member's service delivery roles with their hospitals and affiliate.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as one of the primary strategic advisors at the operational leadership and C-suite level
  • Identify and execute strategies and solutions by leveraging Vizient resources on behalf of the member
  • Maintain and grow member relationship and Vizient services. Ultimately accountable for all Vizient activity that occurs within their assigned accounts.
  • Develop and execute account plans that align with member strategic priorities for supply cost and/or clinical performance while delivering on Vizient goals
  • Managing projects with successful metrics and mitigation plans to ensure annual results are met
  • Accountable for revenue growth goals, member savings, tracking metrics and linkage between member and Vizient strategic priorities
  • Responsible for the performance and development of all resources (custom, service, SMEs) assigned to the member. Includes recruiting, onboarding and management of staff assigned to managed enterprise provider
  • Support supply chain efforts in recruiting and onboarding new members, as needed
  • Serve as a conduit for feedback to the business team to provide input into the development of new products and services that may include new business partnerships. Seek out opportunities to link Vizient innovation with member operational and clinical improvement activities
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree desired
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience working with or for healthcare supply manufacturers, distributors and group purchasing organizations
  • Possess excellent Excel and advanced analytics capabilities
  • Documented success with operational planning and project management
  • Proven experience in leading highly effective teams
  • Familiarity with healthcare supply chain contracting processes and operations
  • Polished, articulate speaker and meeting leader
  • Ability to understand member needs and objectives from a programmatic, financial, technical, organizational, and political perspective
  • Ability to interact with executives, and the ability to influence decisions at the C-suite level
  • Trusted advisor/ strong executive presence/ complex business problem solving skills
  • Great facilitation skills – ability to drive decision and bring to conclusion
  • Must reside within the West Zone or willing to relocate
  • Ability to work across a matrixed and political organization
  • Willingness to travel

Estimated Hiring Range:
$135,200.00 - $201,200.00
