Position: Yard Switcher
The Yard Switcher associates are responsible for moving freight and aiding in the Shipping processes and procedures. This position also supports other ship dock functions.
Responsibilities:
- Safely remove and park all trailers at correct doors
- Coordinate parking and outbound drivers as needed
- Assist stacking, running, and wrapping on the ship dock
- Assist with ship dock sorter operation
- Complete other ship dock tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Forklift certification required
- CDL license required
- Ability to drive a Yard Switcher
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift 75 pounds throughout a shift
