The Company

Builder’s Choice (BCI) is a leading building supply company headquartered in North Houston. The company’s principal business is cabinet delivery and installation for residential new construction. BCI has experienced significant growth in its core business and has recently built a countertop fabrication plant to enable expansion into the countertop trade. Future growth plans include geographic expansion as well as expansion into other trades (eg. flooring, windows, etc.).

Role and Primary Responsibilities

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the role of Warehouse Supervisor, will be responsible for running day to day operations for all warehouse logistics. The Director will lead a team of approximately 20 and will oversee the following functions:

• Warehouse
• Delivery
• Receiving
• Service Department
• Fleet & Logistics

The Warehouse Supervisor will participate as a member of the operations leadership team of the business and will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure great outcomes for our people, our customers, and our shareholders. The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the receiving of incoming trucks, scheduling/routing deliveries and ensuring special handling processes are following when receiving, storing, loading, and delivering materials. The Warehouse Supervisor will also oversee the service department and the receiving/pulling of incoming or outgoing service parts along with ensuring on time and accurate inventory of stock materials.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

The successful candidate will have experience in the construction or industrial services industry, a demonstrated track record of warehouse logistics, a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
