Position Summary

Primary Duty:

Operates gas powered fork truck to lift, move and stack racks of finished and unfinished products and materials by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Moves levers and presses foot pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.

Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials, and transports load to designated area.

Loads and unloads trucks; stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.

Prepares loads for shipment by ensuring label is correct and load is for correct customer.

Moves racks of finished goods to the warehouse from the production floor.

Counts materials or products and records numbers onto warehouse computer.

Prepares bar code labels for racks of foam pads prior to removal from production floor.

Scans serial number from barcode label into computer prior to shipment.

Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device.

Fills fuel tank, or replaces liquified gas tank.

May assist with inventory procedures.

Requires regular attendance and punctuality, and regularly working beyond eight (8) hours per day and five (5) days per week.
