Warehouse Associate - Lewisville, TX Job at Prime Controls
Summary:
The Warehouse Associate receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse perimeter. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, possess and demonstrate solid leadership abilities, ability to properly articulate and reinforce our core values, maturity in treating others with dignity and respect, high integrity, natural team player, and show energy and motivation for accomplishing goals and continuous improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive orders and keep loading dock clear.
- Place project inventory items in proper locations in warehouse (receive, label, store).
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup.
- Pick/kit orders for production.
- Assist personnel with material transfers.
- Documents all related activities and completes forms and reports.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Adherence to safety standards required at all times.
- Performs other related duties as directed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to operate forklift, order picker, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
- Ability to lift or move heavy products.
- Operates forklift/picker/pallet jack as needed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to keep accurate records.
- Ability to work under deadlines and meet competing demands.
- Good customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Proven traits in dependability, initiative, high energy, and proficient in time management.
