RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL:
Sets long-term strategic vision (10+ years), is responsible for all aspects of the Ecommerce operation and engages in setting organizational strategy and vision. Continually aligns financial and operational performance to create economic value and collaborate and align with the Executive Team. Achieves operational excellence through coaching and mentoring the team, driving employee engagement, and building leadership bench strength. Typically focuses on projects and initiatives that span 5-10 years, evaluates and monitors market trends.
FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS:

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
1. Oversees development of customized ecommerce strategies that reflect the needs of specific product lines or categories.
2. Develops strategic plans that are meant to grow online sales and inventory. Analyzes data evaluating the performance of online sales channels or partners; identifies underserved or underperforming market segments and develops strategies for integration or optimization.
3. Collaborates with CRO and other Retail leadership to develop the ecommerce strategic direction, address strategic issues and opportunities facing the Retail Services, and continuously evaluate changes in the ecommerce function.
4. Research trends to evaluate market performance and increase sustainability initiatives partnering with Goodwill Industries International and other affiliates.
5. Drives continuous improvement projects to optimize operations and improve productivity to meet and exceed business objectives; effectively leverages management teams to solicit ideas and understand problems and challenges in the building.
6. Establishes objectives and metrics for quality, productivity, and customer experience.
7. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
8. Leading and Developing Talent: Directs organizational design for multiple departments, and oversees development and training of staff. Ensures ongoing succession planning and development within and outside of unit. Actively networks and sources for positions throughout the organization.
9. Project and Change Management: Establishes project priority and timing, articulates vision for organizational changes. Authorizes use of organizational time, talent and financial resources to support projects and improvement initiatives. Manages change through effective communication and coaching throughout the organization. Builds and participates in leadership coalition supporting and implementing the change and frequently serves as Project Sponsor for major initiatives.
10. Community Engagement: Demonstrated leadership presence in the community through serving on volunteer boards, steering committees or other community committees that align with our intended impact.
11. Board of Director meetings: provides updates on financials, operations and progress towards goals for area/s of responsibility.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor’s Degree required and a minimum of 10 years’ experience within upper management level positions in an Ecommerce, Manufacturing or Operations environment.
2. Preferred experience would include demonstrated results in building, scaling, and managing an operation(s).
3. Valid driver’s license required.
