The SkyTek Joint Venture is seeking a Training Developer III (OCS Training Development) to provide support services to the US Army Combined Arms Support Command, TRADOC (OCS Training Development) that include, but are not limited to, reviewing, and analyzing all related OCS tasking using the ADDIE process, developing lists and memoranda, revising/developing OCS individual tasking, assist ALU OCS course instructors, and collect training workload data. Contract Pending Award.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze OCS-related tasking, doctrine, and policy using the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) process to create an OCS Total Task List.
  • Provide a memorandum recommending individual and collective OCS tasks by echelon, organization, and staff elements.
  • Conduct a Critical Task and Site Selection Board (CTSSB) IAW the process outlined in TRADOC PAM 350-70-1 and the Training and Education Development (TED) Course Resource Model (CRM) Descriptions of Work (DOW) workbook to develop a Critical Task List, Learning Requirement List, and a memorandum for TPO-OCS Director.
  • Submit minutes from the CTSSB after completion of the board.
  • Conduct an individual task analysis and develop a memorandum recommending prioritized revision or newly developed OCS individual tasks to the TPO-OCS Director.
  • Revise or development OCS individual tasks using processes and tools identified in TRADOC PAM 350-70-1.
  • Conduct a collective task analysis to develop a memorandum recommending prioritized revision or development of OCS collective tasks for the TPO-OCS Director.
  • Revise and develop OCS collective tasks using the processes and tools identified in TRADOC PAM 350-70-1.
  • Develop applicable OCS training and education products, including Soldier Training Plan and Officer Foundational Standards listed in the TED CRM DOW.
  • Use the ADDIE process to develop a memorandum recommending revision or development of applicable training products, including Distance Learning options.
  • Review, maintain, and update OCS-related training and education products IAW timelines and the estimated time value (ETV) provided in the TED CRM DOW workbook and Government prioritization.
  • Assist ALU OCS Course Instructors with revising the OCS Course (9E-SI3C/ASI3C/950-ASI3C) Program of Instruction and lesson plans.
  • Collect and provide OS training development workload data to COR, including historical achievements and projections for future workload requirements using the TED CRM DOW workbook.
  • Submit workload data before timelines are established in the TED Workload Management Process Guide.

Qualifications

Education

  • Minimum education of a Bachelor’s degree

Experience

  • Minimum six years of increasing experience in military training development, preferably Army training development with processes and products identified TR Reg 350-1.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Minimum of six years of experience using Microsoft Office, Microsoft Office 365, and Adobe Pro.
  • Experience in OCS is desired but not required.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills. Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Able to design and write clear communications and present training programs.
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Windows and MS Office and Linux
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work collaboratively with others

Additional Information

  • Ability to obtain or have a security clearance
  • Requires 5% - 10% travel
  • Daily travel in the local area during the workday (including the use of a personal vehicle)
  • Extended work days and weekend work may be required
  • Ability to work from a remote location
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
