Tour Guide to Historic Boston Job at Hub Town Tours
Job Description: Are friends and family tired of you dragging them on another history tour? Have you explored the Freedom Trail and Beacon Hill and wished you could do so for work? Hub Town Tours, a top-rated historical tour operator in Boston since 2016, seeks passionate and professionally-minded tour guides to continue expanding its small team! Successful applicants will be friendly, reliable, and, most importantly, demonstrate an obvious enthusiasm for sharing Boston history with others.
Hub Town Tours offers top-quality, small-group walking tours of the Freedom Trail and Beacon Hill from April to December. Dress is business casual (no colonial garb!) and groups are capped at 16 guests (no huge groups!). Guides begin on per-diem basis—$240.00/day plus gratuities—with the opportunity for additional hours throughout the season. This is an ideal summer job for history teachers, part-time work for recent graduates or current students, or side gig for gifted storytellers who love being outside, surrounded by history, and sharing it with others.
