Kett Engineering is accepting applications and pre-qualifying candidates to be test drivers for 2nd shift. This program is working with our customer in an automotive testing / research and development program in Dearborn, MI starting in Mid-January. This is a perfect position for college students and retirees!!

The Test Driver follows the direction of Lead Driver and/or Project Coordinator, performs various driving services on vehicles per shift according to customers specifications. and represents Kett Engineering in a professional manner.

Pay rate: $15.30/hr.

All shifts are 8 - 10 hours. The start times will vary depending on testing needs, they will be as follows:

2nd shift will start at 4:00 pm, 5:00 pm or 6:00 pm

Essential Functions:

• Demonstrate ability to drive all schedules certified on, with complete schedule integrity and does so on a consistent basis
• Prepare accurate driver reports and other records on a daily basis, document observations in a clear and concise manner
• Perform related driving/vehicle prep work as assigned.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must have at 4 years of licensed driving experience and possess a current operators license. Must have a clean driving record with no points, moving violations or at-fault accidents.
• Availability of 3-5 days a week.
• Must be able to drive in inclement weather.
• Must be able to able to drive up to 3 hours between breaks.

Experience:

• recent licensed driving: 5 years (Required)
