Technician/Laborer Job at The Amlon Group
Amlon Resources Group is a global environmental services and trading company in existence for over 35 years, headquartered in midtown NYC. Multiple positions are open at our APA location in Port Allen, Louisiana. Successful candidates must be able to work well in a team environment. The position will report directly to the Shift Supervisor. This is an onsite position at our Port Allen facility.
Job Type: Full-time (Onsite)
Start Date: July 06, 2022
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Job Requirements
- Duties include assisting plant operators and maintenance personnel at a small process plant.
- Operating a forklift, small frontend loader, and manlift will be required.
- A strong mechanical aptitude is required.
- Experience is preferred, but not required - we will train you.
- Advancement is available for those with mechanical aptitude and motivation.
- Position involves shiftwork with overtime.
- Work schedule may vary.
Physical requirements:
- Working indoors and outdoors (in all weather conditions),
- Standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders,
- Working at heights
- Heavy lifting
