Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review individual, business, and trust tax returns.
  • Recognize complex technical issues, evaluate facts efficiently and use strategic decision-making skills to improve processes by developing and implementing best practices.
  • Manage planning and engagement activity and follow through to achieve results.
  • Timely deliver a diversified range of accounting and tax services in compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate accounting staff and assess their performance, technical skills, work quality, and application of professional and firm standards and provides timely feedback.
  • Builds relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting, and expertise.
  • Develop, motivate and train team members.
  • Develop professional relationships in the community.
  • Invest in professional development through active participation in training sessions and networking events both internally and externally.

Qualifications:

  • Must have CPA certification
  • Minimum of 6+ years of CPA firm experience
  • Experience with CCH Access products a plus
  • Strong leadership and personnel management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, deadlines, and budgets
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt style and messaging to effectively communicate at all levels both within the client organization and the firm
  • Commitment to continuous learning and development
  • Enthusiasm for helping others be successful
  • Out-of-the-box thinking and an entrepreneurial spirit
