Title : system Admin\ infrastructure Engineer

Location : Missouri city , TX( Onsite role from day 1)

Long Term Contract

Responsibilities :

• Partner with IT Infrastructure Director, and OT/IT teams in improving IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes which reflect best practices and business needs.
• Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting IT Infrastructure faults and performance shortcomings including system errors, network issues, and urgent support needs.
• Support large IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and IT integrations from acquisitions and divestitures.
• Management for day-to-day operational support activities of the IT Infrastructure at Midland TX, and other sites (Remotely or onsite as needed).
• Lead and manage support activities of external Managed Services Providers (MSP).
• Work closely with other IT teams (Security, Level 1, Application Support, etc.) to support IT Infrastructure activities in inter-dependent workstreams.
• Support cloud and on-premise ERP Infrastructure including ERP and cloud migration activities
• Partner with IT Security team in Cyber Security initiatives like Data Loss Prevention, Penetration testing, Security Assessment, Ransomware prevention, etc.
• Management of on-premise and cloud Backup and Recovery solutions using VEEAM and Exagrid storage system.
• Management of ongoing IT Infrastructure projects including SD-WAN, VPN, and MS Teams Phones.
• Support of incident, problem and change management process using ServiceNow platform.
• Management of key transformation projects that improve technology standardization across multiple business units and drive down operating costs

Required Education, Qualifications, and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Min 7+ years of overall experience working at similar roles in IT operations.
• Excellent technical knowledge and information analysis of computer hardware/software/network systems.
• Experience in managing IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies.
• Excellent working knowledge of IT systems, security (IPSEC / Client VPN), network (SD-WAN), and systems administration (Windows / Linux), databases (SQL), data storage systems (NAS / SAN), MS Azure Cloud, O365, and phone systems (VoIP / Analog / MS Teams)
• Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 50 pounds occasionally.
• Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize concurrent workstreams
• Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices (Azure Cloud / On Premise)
• Advanced knowledge and experience in Backup and Recovery, DR/BCP, IT Security, DLP, and Identity Management.

Desirable Education, Qualification, and Experience

• Min 7 years of overall experience working in IT operations taking on progressive roles.

Expertise in data center technologies and data governance

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
