The Supplier Risk Group (SRG) Program Representative is a unique opportunity to join a diverse team of program professionals working to expand and institutionalize a comprehensive supply chain risk program. The success of this group has been recognized by senior leadership as essential for the development and sustainment of supply chain performance. This position is located in a collaborative environment coordinating risk-related efforts between purchasing and other Electric Boat Supplier Management & Oversight (SMO) organizations (supplier quality, engineering, security, etc.).

For this role, the SRG is seeking a highly motivated, out-of-the-box thinker to help to further develop and codify the framework and processes for our organization. The SRG Program Rep will help to develop and implement supply chain risk measures (assessments, data analytics, lessons learned, etc.) as well as serve as a subject matter expert providing input and oversight for other SMO risk-related efforts. This individual will also be responsible for helping to organize a growing body of risk-related knowledge for use by enterprise stakeholders in acquisition planning and decision making. This is a hybrid position that offers flexibility to work remotely or in office.

The selected candidate’s responsibilities will include:

• Development of a Supplier Risk Profile that encompasses all phases of supplier management
• Consolidating, analyzing, and trending of risk data at supply base, market space, and supplier-specific levels, and developing mitigation strategies
• Facilitating Risk Review Boards and developing consensus on mitigation actions based on assessment of relevant risks
• Providing predictive and actionable risk alerts to supply chain management and assisting in the development of risk mitigation actions
• Regular interface with Procurement, Engineering, Program Office(s), and Supplier Quality on refinement of the necessary inputs and outputs of the Supplier Risk Group

• Bachelor degree
• Demonstrated project management experience
• Experience in problem identification, resolution, or process improvement
• Experience analyzing data utilizing Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Access, or other similar applications

• Bachelor degree (or higher) in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business
• Previous experience with supply chain, engineering, quality, or risk management
• Knowledge of data analysis and MRP or ERP business systems
