Supervisor of Security - Grapevine Job at Paycom Payroll Llc
Under the direction of the Sr Manager of Physical Security, the Supervisor of Security will be responsible for ensuring that sites under their responsibility are complying with Paycom’s Safety and Physical Security policies, administrative directives and procedures as well as utilizing best practices in the security field. The Physical Security Supervisor will also ensure that all Paycom employees, contractors, vendors and visitors, are following those same policies. The Physical Security Supervisor will also coordinate and respond to any security event that occurs within their assigned area or as directed. The Physical Security Supervisor is responsible for supervision of Security Team Leads and officers under them.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage, organize, and build a team of security professionals to ensure all safety and security policies and procedures are being enforced
- Partner with the Director of Safety and Physical Security to develop and implement auditing of physical security operations against established standards, policies and procedures
- Develop and mentor direct reports
- Oversee the daily operations of physical security. Includes implementation of physical security controls, incident management, reporting and resolution
- Partner with department leaders to make sure the safety and security programs are followed
- Maintain strong ties with Local, State and Federal Government law enforcement officials
- Provide support and advice to Paycom employees for off-site meetings and events for the purpose
- Always promote safety and security best practices and instill a culture of collective and individual responsibility for practicing awareness
- Inspires the trust of others while working with integrity and a high ethical standard
- Ability to work well and effectively in high-stress emergency situations
- Strong problem solving, decision making and organization skills
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree OR 5+ years of supervisory experience in Law Enforcement or Security field
- Valid driver’s license
- Possess a Private Security Bureau Level III Commission (Armed Security Officer)
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Law Enforcement, Military or Corporate Security field
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent relationship, persuasion/influence, presentation, and communication (verbal/written) skills
- Strong work ethic and high level of discretion
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
- Demonstrates initiative, strong judgment, and commitment for results
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn a variety of operating systems as it relates to access control and video surveillance.
- Strong report writing skills and ability to communicate effectively with senior management.
