Our Company:
iSwii by Angry Birds is the first Angry Birds themed retail-café experience located at Tangram’s shopping center in Flushing. We are searching for dedicated and enthusiastic candidates with café/bakery experience to join our flock for our fun and festive grand opening in April.
Responsibilities:
- Role model customer service expectations by working alongside Barista/POS/Service staff
- Regularly count store funds and monitor cash registers on a timed, daily-routine
- Demonstrates a calm demeanor during periods of high volume and manages smooth transitions thereafter.
- Maintain team cohesion and morale by running the floor and sending breaks
- Attend to issues of customer dissatisfaction and resolve potential inter-employee conflicts.
- Persistently ensure store policies and procedures are being followed by Barista/POS/Service staff.
- Coach and teach employees on standards in a respectful and constructive manner.
- Ensure food safety standards are met such as by monitoring and recording refrigerator temperatures, maintenance of employee dress code and hygiene standards, etc.
- Remain in consistent communication with management regarding daily operations and occurrences.
- Assist management with counting inventory
- Delegate tasks and follow up on completion
Requirements:
- Prior leadership experience in Retail, Quick Serve Restaurant, or Food Service Management required
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- Ability to stand in a stationary position (standing) for prolonged periods of time
