The Strategic Sourcing/Procurement Manager is akey member of the Sourcing & Procurement organization and worksclosely witheachNextech department to develop and execute category sourcing strategies, deliver savings, improvevendor performance, and enhanceproductivity across assigned categories. This individual coordinateswith several teams across Nextechto strategically create annual sourcing calendars and execute on identified opportunities through market RFx events. Additionally, this individual ownspurchase to pay process optimization and effectiveness.

- Establish category sourcing strategies, lead cross-functional strategic sourcing teams, negotiate with suppliers, and recommendcontracts to optimize the Company’scompetitive position
- Drive appropriate relationships with categorysuppliers with theprincipal objective of achieving the optimal solution that meets the business’ goals with performance benchmarks in use
- Support Senior Director of Procurementin developing a firmwide strategic supply chain operation and strategy
- Manage competitive RFx events effectively
- Operate cross functionally between operations, finance, external suppliers, and executive leadership
- Collect and communicate market intelligence for eachcategory to key stakeholdersandanticipate strategic opportunities
- Identify, achieve, and report on savings metricsfor category activities
- Align with internal customers and understand the business application of the category
- Earn the trust of key stakeholders to drive alignment with the business
- Create a categorystrategy in conjunction with internal customers to ensure there is a comprehensive, unified approach for the category
- Achieve yearly cost saving or value targets appropriate to the category aligned with annual budget processes
- Support and contribute to supplier diversity program and sustainability initiatives
- Drive ongoing purchase to pay process optimization
- Establish purchase SLA’s and lead efforts to maintain or exceed targets
- Other duties, as assigned
